Wednesday night was Persian New Year. We awoke at 1:48 am because that time was New Year. We danced, drank win and pried that we will have a good year.I feel old, because at any new year I tell to myself ahhhhhhhhhhh I get 1 year older!! Any way, that was very good, but I feel sad because my father wasn’t with us. Every Persian New Year my family celebrate together and I feel very happy. This is third time my dad is not with us. Although he called that night, but I still felt sad because I heard his sound, not saw him. For New Year we eat special food. We eat green rice with fish. It means during the year, we will have a good year with lots of fortune. I took the picture of Haft Sin that I explained it before. I hope every body will have a great year!!

You shouldn't make yourself older on New Year's. You should wait until your birthday! We should only get older once a year. I'm sorry your father wasn't with you, but I hope you had fun anyway.
